.Speaking of trains, the Orange Empire Railway Museum's annual Spring Rail Festival will be held April 26-27. Visitors will get the chance to ride in and admire a wide variety of historic trains and trolleys.

The O.C. Historical Commission and OC Parks will present "A Day at the Ranch" -- a historical fair and exhibition at the new Irvine Ranch Historic Park and Katie Wheeler Library, on May 22, 9:30am-1pm. With Rob Selway now retired, Griselda Castillo has been put in charge of the Old Orange County Courthouse as well as some of Rob's other former duties. We wish her the best of luck and hope that those rowdy tennants in the basement don't give her too much trouble.
