Sahuaro Ranch was started in 1880 as 640 acres of citrus and pecans. Purchased by the city of Glendale in 1977, it remained a working farm through 1980 when 17 acres of it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The old structures were restored and it is now a Park. There are lots of photographic possibilities to be found here, but the blacksmith shop just called for black & white.
