I chanced upon this programme as I was randomly watching anything that was shown on the idiot box. I thought it was a new programme since I have not been watching TV for so long, but turns out to be that this programme was well into season 4 already =)
Beauty and the Geek. First there is The Bachelor where many caves seek out for an eel. Then there is The Bachelorette where many eels seek out a cave. Then came Average Joe where fat eels seek out for caves. Then now, Beauty and the Geek! Ooo, sounds like something I can join.
Geek. I thought my definition of being a geek shouldn't be too wrong. Geeks are those bespectacled dudes who sit in front of their computers most of the days playing online games, chatting or perhaps you know, doing some tech related stuff. They wear a t-shirt in the inside and a checked collared unbuttoned shirt on the outside. But apparently, in Beauty and the Geek, some of them are not really geeks but geniuses. This 'ultimate social experiment' puts together 8 beauties who have relied on their looks against 8 geeks who have relied primarily on their intellect and are socially inept together. And amongst those geeks you can find people who are *gasp* medical student, speed chess champion and *double gasp* Rubik's Cube record holder, but to name a few.
Luckily the medical student and his partner won the first season. Pheww~
You reckon they will let me join? I want to be paired up with a hottie, just like him!
