When it comes down to Justin Bieber or her happiness, Selena Gomez chose the latter!
Splitting once again from her on-again, off-again boyfriend, it's being said the reason for their March "break" was because the songstress decided to put herself first, according to an Us Weekly source.

The insider dished:
"Selena started seeing the bigger picture when it came to their relationship, like what was more important: her general happiness and her family and friends approval, or her being together with Justin, where no one really supported their relationship."
As you already know, Selly's mom Mandy Teefey was reported to be against the twosome's reunion, causing a rift between the mother and daughter.
The source continued:
"She obviously chose happiness and her friends and family and is so thrilled about her decision-making process. She feels more empowered than ever and is looking forward to this next chapter."
Selena will be releasing a new single titled Back 2 You on Thursday, so hopefully this means her "next chapter" has a lot more new music for fans!
Especially as another confidant spilled how her latest rekindling with Bieber finally made her feel like "she got it out of her system."
