NIGERIA: BUHARI TO PRESENT MILITARY'S NEEDS TO FIGHT BOKO HARAM TO G7

President Buhari has said on Thursday, that he has requested the nations service chiefs to produce a list of the logistics required by the military to successfully fight the Boko Haram sect.
Buhari said in turn forward this list to the heads of the Group of Seven Industrialised Nations (G7) who requested the list during his recent meeting with them in Germany.
Buhari said the final list to be submitted will be drafted at the end of the African Union Summit holding in South Africa. This was agreed at the summit hosted by Buhari. Most of the troops will come from Nigeria with Cameroon, Chad, Benin and Niger contributing.
While the force will be led by a Nigerian commander, it was agreed that the force will be based in the Chadian capital, Ndjamena rather than Baga in the north eastern Nigeria.
