Digit-al Dozen Does Traditions; Day 4

These nails aren't your typical holidays nails, but that's what I was going for!  I wanted to do candy cane stripes but not the typical striped nails so thought I would use this super cool image from Infinity 116 for some candy cane like nails.  We love candy canes at our house; not only to eat but loads of decorations; candy cane lights outside, decorations on the tree, and even used in holiday baking!  Which make them perfect for a tradition mani for Day 4 of Digital Dozen week!

Started with a base of two coats of Sally Hansen Insta-dri Rapid Red, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby.  no top coat.

Added coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to all fingers except pinky.

Using an image from Infinity 116, stamped using Girly Bits White Wedding and Fire Engine Red Stamping Polishes.

Girly Bits recently released a stamping plate and stamping polishes.  This is Girly Bits Fire Engine Red Stamping Polish**; highly pigmented, odour free and no blurring, either with the stamping or when top coat was applied.  The formula was awesome for a stamping polish and stamped really well!  I've been using a lot of the Girly Bits stamping polishes in my recent holiday mani's and haven't had an issue with any of them.  I'll be doing a more comprehensive post on them soon!

Decided the nails needed a little bit more so painted nail studs using the stamping polishes.  I sure wish there were more coloured metal circle and square studs; while I have painted a few to match manis, it isn't the easiest thing to do painting them.

When they were dry, added to nails.  In hindsight, these are a bit too large for my nails and not really sure if they added anything to the mani but didn't mind them.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish and secure nails studs.

Here's the other ladies Day 4 nails!

Thanks for looking!
