CONTROVERSY SURROUNDS THE REPORT THAT INEC HAS POSTPONED THE ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA

Several media houses had this morning reported that the Nigerian Elections which kick off on 14th February has been postponed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
We didnot want to be a party to such a controversial report until there is an outright statement by INEC confirming this.
INEC has reportedly reacted to this report through its twitter page saying that it has not made any official statement with regards to postponing of elections and that meetings are  currently going on.

We will update you if there is a concrete statement from INEC.
