Anupam Kher will Receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at IIFA 2018:
In 1986, viewers of Indian films were introduced with a new face with the title of Dr. Michael Dang. The movie was Karma and the leading role was performed by great Indian Legendary actor “Dilip Kumar” along with the “Anil Kapoor”, “Jacky Shroff” and all-time star actor “Nasiruddin Shah”. The movie was a hit on the box office.
The new face of Dr. Dang was Anupam Kher. In the later times, he proved himself as a great actor. In the beginning, he was famous as a negative roles. But with the time, he performed in all types of roles just like, serious role, supporting role and of course comedy as well.
After the announcement of the award, he said to a news channel that, I am very great full the IIFA for the acknowledgment of my performance of 32 years. I am very thankful for honoring me.
Moreover, he added that with every such award comes a sense of responsibility which I promise to be committed to, in our industry and also, as a representative of our country in the international arena.
63 years Anupam Kher has performed in more than five hundred (500) moves. Through this journey Mr. Kher has received two National Film Awards along with eighteen (18) Filmfare Awards. He will be receiving lifetime achievement award now.
